| How does your office help a patient understand their costs for Services, payment plan options, or use of their dental insurance?
We tell them what their estimated dental benefits & Out-Of-Pocket will be, we file their Dental Insurance claims for them and we present any Financing Plans that they can apply for through our Practice. |
| How do you educate your patients about the treatments they need and how to keep problems from reoccurring?
We utilize Patient Education technology (videos, animations, etc.), Our Doctors and/or Staff presents key information & demonstrations, and we present our Patients with handouts (pamphlets, etc.) for them to take home. |
| What do you do when there are multiple treatment options available for a patient's dental condition?
We present our Patients every possible treatment approach and then work with them to determine the Treatment Plan that best meets their individual needs. |

Personal Statement
Dr. Ungerleider has been married to Kathy for more than 18 years and has two wonderful children, Matthew and Jennifer. His hobbies include photography, golf, skiing, and actively cheering on his children in all their many activities.
Medical Education
After receiving his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Ungerleider received his D.M.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in 1988.Special Training
He completed his certification in Orthodontics from both the United States Dental Institute and the International Association of Orthodontics. He is excited to bring to adults and teenagers the easiest way to straighten teeth with the INVISALIGN technique. He has successfully incorporated the concept of invisibly straightening teeth to the Granby Dental Center.
Personal Background
Following his graduation, he then served a one year General Practice Residency in the VAMC, Manchester, NH. He has been in private practice in Granby since 1990. His practice centers on preventive and cosmetic dental care. His goal is for everyone to keep their smile for a lifetime!
Community Involvement
He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Connecticut State Dental Association, and the International Association of Orthodontics, and has earned a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. He is also certified in the CEREC technology, allowing him to bring you ONE-VISIT crowns and onlays!
He believes that, with advances in dental techniques, there is no reason why most people should not be able to keep their natural teeth for a lifetime. His goal is to work with you to attain this. He is a certified LUMINEERS provider, enabling him to bring to you a quick, painless, permanent solution for just about anyone to who wants a brighter, whiter, straighter and more beautiful smile in only two visits
