We inform our Patients what their estimated Dental Benefits are and what their out-of-pocket costs will be - we then file their insurance claim for them and facilitate any financing options they may be interested in. |

Medical Education
Originally from New York City, Dr. Wortman is a 1972 graduate of Georgetown University School of Dentistry.Personal Background
Dr. Wortman and his wife, Linda, have been married for 41 years and live in Fairfax. Their son, David, is an attorney who, along with his wife Karla and their daughter Olivia, lives in Fairfax. Olivia, of course, is the light of Dr. Wortman's life.
Dr. Wortman is a sports fanatic and is a Washington Nationals season ticket holder.
Community Involvement
Dr. Wortman is a member of the American Dental Association, the VA Dental Association and the Northern VA Dental Society. He has been a guest lecturer for both Georgetown University School of Dentistry and the DC Dental Society. He has been an advisor to Proctor and Gamble's Dental Division, served five years on the Northern VA Dental Society's Patient Relations Committee and recently served as an expert witness in a court case involving dental malpractice.
